Create custom forms

Forms in Onne Business App is a powerful feature that allows you to create different kinds of custom forms - registration forms, admission forms, polls, survey, feedback forms etc.

Step 1

Forms can be accessed in two ways:

a) Through the call to action pen icon

or

b) from inside the Applets section

Step 2

Click on the + sign. You will find a 'design a form'  option and a ready to use, pre-created form template. This pre-installed form will depend on the business vertical you selected during the signup process.

For example, if you selected a school you will see an admission form, if you selected a residence association there will be a registration form, and so on.

Step 3

Click on 'design a form', to create your own custom form. Give a title and description of the form. You can also give a validity period (optional). Click on Next.

Step 4

Click on 'Add a question

There are four types of questions to choose from

a) Long text form- Add a question, attach pdf or image. Make the question mandatory or not by selecting on or off from the toggle switch.
👉🏿
b) Short text form-Add a question and select mandatory to on or off. No attachments are possible.

c) Multiple choice question- Add a question and type the answer choice. Click on + sign to add more answer choices.  You can add supporting pdf or images as attachments and select mandatory on or off.

d) Checkbox option- Add a question and type the answer choice. Click on + sign to add more answer choices.  You can add supporting pdf or images as attachments and select mandatory on or off.

Step 5

Preview the form that you have created and Save.

The saved forms will be available inside the forms section and can be used for future purposes.

Step 6 - Sending the form

Click on the three dots next to the form you created.

You can,

a) Share link- Share the form to any other social media apps connected to your phone, for eg Whatsapp. The recipient need not be connected with your app, they can fill the form and submit it.

b) Copy link- Copy the link to the form and paste it to any other platform, for eg- email.

c) Share- send directly to those users who are connected with your app.

d) Deactivate- Deactivate the form or delete it. Even if you deactivate the form, the responses you received until then, will be saved for your viewing.

e) Duplicate- Use the same form format and duplicate it.

Step 7

You can view user responses inside each form. Select all user responses and export them to a csv file.
